The BVD Technical Working Group have produced a detailed document providing information on herd testing strategies for BVD during the voluntary period of the NI BVD eradication programme. In particular it contains advice on: what to do if a BVD virus positive animal is detected; the options for defining the status of other animals in the herd and how to investigate breakdowns or transient infections.
